Engineering Management Certification Review and Examination Practice Course

The review and practice examination course is directed to individuals who wish to prepare for the ENGINEERING MANAGMENT CERTIFICATION examination in review of concepts and practice questions utilizing computer testing methods with questions being drawn randomized from a test bank.

The course is web deliverable in two formats, self paced and instructor led. The Course consists of eight modules that review material from each ENGINEERING MANAGMENT CERTIFICATION Knowledge Area from the Body of Knowledge Version 2 (BOK2) followed by a practice examination for that Knowledge Area at the end of the module. There is a comprehensive Final Examination at the end of the Course drawn from all Knowledge Areas.

The participant reviews the course materials, listens to audio lecture, and takes each Knowledge Area practice examination repeatedly to build confidence in test taking skills and in understanding of the KA material. Upon completion of the eight Knowledge Areas, the participant can practice taking a comprehensive examination drawn from all Knowledge Areas.

Practice examinations can be repeated an unlimited number of times by the participant with new questions being drawn from a large randomized test bank. The practice examination questions are posed in the style of the ENGINEERING MANAGMENT CERTIFICATION testing, but any similarity of specific questions to actual certification examination questions would be inadvertent and coincidental.

For instructor led sections, courses enroll each month and run for a period of 8 weeks. Participants have an experienced engineering management professional as a professor to discuss concepts and provide answers to questions during the course. Instructor led sections will begin each month during 2011. The first available instructor led section will start January 2011. The Self-Paced version of the course may be started at any time and the course may be used for a period of 8 weeks. Participants in the Instructor led courses have access to the Self-Paced course for 8 weeks after the Instructor led course ends for a period of 16 weeks.
